Upfront Sales Packs

Terms of use

Last updated .

These terms apply to anyone using upfrontsalespacks.co.uk and upfrontsalespacks.com. By using the site you accept them. They are short, and written to be read.

Who we are

This website is operated by the operator of Upfront Sales Packs. You can contact us through the contact form.

Information only, not advice

The guides explain the law, government policy and typical costs relating to upfront sales packs in England and Wales, in general terms. They are not legal, financial, surveying or tax advice, and they do not take account of your circumstances or any particular property. Before acting, or deciding not to act, take advice from a qualified professional such as a conveyancer, solicitor, surveyor or estate agent.

Using this site does not create a client relationship of any kind. We do not act for buyers or sellers, market property, introduce buyers, negotiate, hold money, or carry out conveyancing or any other reserved legal activity. Nothing is sold through this site at present.

Registering for the portal

The Upfront Sales Packs portal is in development and has its own terms of use and privacy notice. Registering your interest as an estate agency, a homeowner or a service provider is free. It does not create a contract, commit you or us to anything, or guarantee a place in a pilot or a listing in a directory. Anything described as planned may change before launch. Before you are asked to pay for anything, or before a provider is listed, the terms and prices will be published or agreed in writing.

Accuracy

We take care to make the guides accurate and to link the sources for every factual claim. However, law, government plans and prices change, and figures from third parties are reported as published. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. We do not promise that the content is complete, current or free of errors. If you spot something wrong, please tell us and we will correct it.

Our liability to you

Because the site is free and provides general information only, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or reliance on its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of a sale or purchase, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you use the site as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

Using the site

Please do not misuse the site: do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or the systems behind it, introduce malicious code, overload it, or use the contact form to send spam or unlawful content. Automated access by search engines and AI crawlers that respect robots.txt is welcome.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example if the site starts to offer services. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
